# 0xinsider API

> Build with Polymarket wallet grades, market activity, daily picks, and large-trade data.

The 0xinsider API gives you analytics on Polymarket traders and markets. Use it to check a wallet's trading record, see who holds each side of a market, read large trades, or follow the Pick of the Day.

The API returns data. Your application decides how to display it or act on it.

## Try it without an account

The sandbox returns example responses without an API key:

```bash theme={null}
curl "https://0xinsider.com/sandbox/api/v1/leaderboard?limit=5"
```

This is sample data, so you can explore the response format before subscribing. [Try the sandbox](/sandbox) also explains how to request example errors.

For real public data, read the pick commitment ledger:

```bash theme={null}
curl "https://api.0xinsider.com/api/v1/pick-of-the-day/ledger"
```

The ledger lists published picks and their proof status. Some entries are sealed, some are opened after settlement, and some are uncommitted; [the ledger reference](/api-reference/endpoint/get-pick-of-the-day-ledger) explains what each state proves.

Most live data requires a Pro or Max subscription and an API key or OAuth token. Follow the [Quickstart](/quickstart) to make your first authenticated request.

## Find the data you need

| Your task | What you get | Start here |
| - | - | - |
| Check a wallet | Its grade, profit and loss, trading statistics, and synchronization status. | [Trader profile](/api-reference/endpoint/get-trader) |
| Compare traders | A ranked list of tracked `S`, `A`, and `B` wallets. | [Leaderboard](/api-reference/endpoint/get-leaderboard) |
| See who holds a market | Holders on each side, their grades, and their records in the category. | [Market holders](/api-reference/endpoint/get-market-holders) |
| Read market activity | Net flow from tracked large trades and the largest graded positions. | [Market flow](/api-reference/endpoint/get-market-flow) |
| Follow large trades | Trade size, price, outcome, trader grade, and available signal fields. | [Large trades](/api-reference/endpoint/get-large-trades) |
| Understand a position | Individual fills and the running average entry price. | [Position timeline](/api-reference/endpoint/get-position-timeline) |
| Review unusual activity | Trades flagged for review, with the reasons and scores available. | [Suspicious trades](/api-reference/endpoint/get-suspicious-trades) |
| Read daily picks | Released picks and the information recorded for each pick. | [Pick of the Day](/api-reference/endpoint/get-pick-of-the-day) |

A wallet grade describes its trading record. A flagged trade calls for review. Neither tells you that a future trade will make money.

## Choose an interface

Use REST directly or choose a client for your application. They read the same API data; your account's [rate limits](/rate-limits) apply across interfaces.

| Interface | Get started |
| - | - |
| REST | Send requests to `https://api.0xinsider.com/api/v1`. |
| [Python](/integrations/python-client) | Install with `pip install 0xinsider`. |
| [Go](/integrations/go-client) | Install with `go get github.com/0xinsider/0xinsider-go`. |
| [TypeScript](/integrations/typescript-client) | Install with `npm install @0xinsider/sdk`. |
| [Rust](/integrations/rust-client) | Add the client from its GitHub repository. |
| [CLI](/integrations/cli) | Install with `npm install --global 0xinsider`, then run `0xinsider login`. |
| [MCP](/integrations/mcp) | Connect a supported AI client to the local or remote server. |

For event notifications, use [webhooks](/guides/webhooks) on a public HTTPS server or the [Server-Sent Events stream](/api-reference/endpoint/get-stream) on a persistent connection.

<Tip>
  For an AI agent, use [llms-full.txt](https://0xinsider.com/llms-full.txt) or [agents.md](https://0xinsider.com/agents.md) for the API contract.
</Tip>

## Know the limits

* Every provider row is from Polymarket. `platform` is always `polymarket`.
* The API does not place trades or hold a wallet key. [potd-trader](/guides/auto-buy-the-pick) is a separate program you run with your own wallet.
* A [market snapshot](/api-reference/endpoint/get-market-snapshot) has best bid, best ask, spread, and depth per outcome. It is not a full order book.
* [Market candles](/api-reference/endpoint/get-market-candles) use stored daily snapshots at `1d` or `1w` intervals. They do not provide intraday prices.
* Missing or unsynchronized data needs a status check before you use it. Start with [trust metadata](/concepts/trust-metadata) and [missing numbers](/concepts/number-formatting).
