POST
Cancel a whale dataset job
Use this endpoint when you no longer need a dataset export. It returns the job’s current state, in the same format as Dataset status. You need active Pro or Max access. Integration keys and OAuth tokens need the export scope; a default API key needs no additional scope. Only the account that submitted the job can cancel it.

Parameters

Key response fields

What cancellation changes

Cancellation does not refund the submission quota. Dataset jobs share the account’s 20 daily exports with trader exports and also have a combined limit of 5 per hour. A job can make up to 3 worker attempts and expires 24 hours after submission. Its maximum file size is 1,000,000 rows or 256 MiB before compression; neither failed nor cancelled jobs make a partial file available.

Continue with deltas

A cancelled job has no completed dataset to continue from. If cancellation arrived after publication had begun and the job finishes as ready, use its manifest with Event replay. Keep the manifest’s normalized condition_id and min_size, save each replay cursor, and deduplicate by the wt_ trade ID. Replay can overlap exported rows and include trades outside the original time range; it reports insertions only. See Submit a whale dataset.

Example

What it does not return

  • A partial file from cancelled work.
  • Another account’s job or a trader export job. Both return 404.
  • Refunded quota or a deleted completed artifact. Repeating cancellation returns the job’s current state.
  • Complete provider history, wallet grades, or market enrichment. If a job completed before cancellation, its file still has the source coverage limits described on Submit a whale dataset.

Authorizations

Authorization
string
header
required

Legacy default or named integration API key, or OAuth 2.1 access token, in the Authorization header as Bearer oxi_sk_live_... or Bearer oxi_at_.... Default keys retain full access; integration keys are limited to their approved read, webhooks, export and usage scopes and expire within 90 days. All credentials share the owner's account limits. Data calls require an active Pro subscription and return live data. A 401 carries WWW-Authenticate: Bearer resource_metadata="https://api.0xinsider.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource" (RFC 6750 section 3, RFC 9728).
