Read a whale dataset job
Read the job returned by Submit a whale dataset. Follow next_action to decide whether to poll, download, or submit a new job. You need active Pro or Max access. Integration keys and OAuth tokens need the export scope; a default API key needs no additional scope. Only the account that submitted the job can read it.

Parameters

Key response fields

The manifest’s content_sha256 checks the decompressed content. Its compressed_sha256 checks the original gzip bytes. Its generation.selected_at dates the database selection; it does not prove complete Polymarket coverage.

Job limits

An export exceeding 1,000,000 rows or 256 MiB before compression fails without a partial file. Narrow the range or filters and submit a new job. Failed or cancelled jobs keep their quota reservation: 20 exports per account per day shared with trader exports, plus 5 dataset submissions per hour. A reconcile_required job is waiting for storage confirmation. Keep following next_action and poll_after_s; do not treat it as a downloadable file.

Continue with deltas

After the job is ready, use artifact.manifest.generation.continuation with Event replay. Send its cursor and the same normalized condition_id and min_size. Replay can repeat exported rows and include late trades outside the original time range. Deduplicate by the wt_ trade ID, and save each replay cursor. Submit a whale dataset explains the continuation boundaries.

Example

What it does not return

  • The file bytes. Use Download a whale dataset when next_action is download.
  • A partial artifact while the job is running or failed.
  • Complete provider history, current wallet grades, or market enrichment. The dataset covers recorded large trades and retains source coverage limits.
  • Another account’s job or a trader export job. Both return 404.
Status responses are private and uncached.

Authorizations

Authorization
string
header
required

Legacy default or named integration API key, or OAuth 2.1 access token, in the Authorization header as Bearer oxi_sk_live_... or Bearer oxi_at_.... Default keys retain full access; integration keys are limited to their approved read, webhooks, export and usage scopes and expire within 90 days. All credentials share the owner's account limits. Data calls require an active Pro subscription and return live data. A 401 carries WWW-Authenticate: Bearer resource_metadata="https://api.0xinsider.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource" (RFC 6750 section 3, RFC 9728).

Path Parameters

job_id
integer<int64>
required

Dataset job ID returned by submit; another owner or a trader export returns 404.

Required range: x >= 1

Response

Owner-scoped dataset lifecycle and immutable manifest when ready.
