Use this endpoint to export a wallet’s dataset. It returns a job that you check with Trader export status, then download once it is ready. Before creating a job, read Trader export snapshot to check coverage and estimated size.

Parameters

Integration API keys and OAuth access tokens need the export scope. A default API key needs no additional scope.

Key response fields

A 202 means a new job was queued. A 200 means a job for the same wallet and format was already running or ready, so the response carries that one instead of a second copy.

Quota

You get 20 exports per account in a rolling 24 hours, and 5 per wallet in a rolling hour. Both counts are keyed to the account that owns the key, so a second API key on the same account shares them. Going over either cap returns 429 with Retry-After set to 3600 and queues nothing.

Example

Then poll Trader export status until status is ready, and fetch the file from Download a trader export.

What it does not do

  • Return the file. The response is the job.
  • Start a second job for work already under way. A job for the same wallet and format that is still queued, running, or ready, and has not expired, comes back with 200. A job you asked to cancel is never reused; the submit queues a new one.
  • Keep a file forever. A job expires 24 hours after it is queued, and a request after that queues a fresh one.
  • Accept a bare integer id in the path.
  • Give a second API key its own quota. Both caps count against the account that owns the key.

Authorizations

Authorization
string
header
required

Legacy default or named integration API key, or OAuth 2.1 access token, in the Authorization header as Bearer oxi_sk_live_... or Bearer oxi_at_.... Default keys retain full access; integration keys are limited to their approved read, webhooks, export and usage scopes and expire within 90 days. All credentials share the owner's account limits. Data calls require an active Pro subscription and return live data. A 401 carries WWW-Authenticate: Bearer resource_metadata="https://api.0xinsider.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource" (RFC 6750 section 3, RFC 9728).

Headers

X-Query-Validation
enum<string>

Opt into strict query-name validation. The default is compatible: unknown names are ignored and reported in X-Query-Ignored. With strict, an unknown name returns 400 bad_request with error.reason unknown_query_parameter before the handler runs, including when its percent escape is incomplete.

Available options:
strict

Path Parameters

address
string
required

Trader wallet address (0x...), known trader username-style lookup, or trd_-prefixed trader ID emitted by this API.

Query Parameters

format
enum<string>
default:json

Output serialization. json = full envelope document (default); ndjson = full envelope as line 1 then one trade object per line; csv = flat trades rows only.

Available options:
json,
ndjson,
csv
fresh
boolean
default:false

true: do not reuse a finished, running or reconciling job; only a queued job is reused, so the file is a snapshot read after this submit. Consumes quota when nothing is queued. Default false.

Response

A live job for this trader and format inside its retention window already exists and was reused; read its data_as_of and expires_at.
